ReactOS is able to do many things because it's able to leverage the work others have already done in other open source projects. This is one of the major benefits of this development model. If you're interested in a current list of third-party libraries, you can check that out here.
ReactOS Devs Working On Other Projects
ReactOS developers are, of course, free to work on anything else that they may find interesting or have some experience or expertise with. Sometimes these contributions help ReactOS as well. This is an attempt to keep a list of contributions ReactOS devs have made to other open source projects. It is by no means exhaustive or even necessarily up to date!
