I have the same problem. 

System Specs

Compaq Presario C700T
Pentium dual-core T2310 @ 1.46 GHz (x86-64)
2 GB of RAM
Intel GM965 Chipset
Intel integrated X3100 graphics chip
Conexant HD Audio (UAA)
Conexant Modem (UAA)
HP Quick Launch Keys (This appears as a separate device in device manager)
Alps Touch Pad
Realtek RTL8139 Ethernet Adapter
Broadcom 802.11b/g Wireless
F.31 BIOS

80 GB hard drive is attached to the SATA controller and LightScribe DVD-RAM
drive is attached to the Ultra ATA controller.
