>From what I gather this bug report encompasses two bugs; a new one and one that
is already known. If the old one is already known to you I'm inclined to close
the report so that we can keep open bug reports to a minimum, so that you won't
have to rummage through so many bug reports in your assignment queue. The
underlying motivation is the maximisation of productivity, in this case through
minimising the number of reports that have to be read.
